I am searching for information on Confederate camps near or on Mud Creek, or at Mud Point, Chickasaw Nation, where Company A of Bourland's Border Regiment was stationed. my g-g-grandfather, R.W. Thompson, was a lieutenant in Co. A and served there. Possibly, the camp was called Camp Simon or Simons. Any information would be greatly appreciated!
