does anyone have a unit history of the 5th mntd. kentucky infantry? my great grandfather was with this unit. he is buried at sandy springs ohio. his unit is documented on a footstone placed at the grave by the Legion.he was in company c. what was the difference between calvary and mounted infantry? any info would be appreciated. thanks tom
