My GGG Grandfather, James Irvine Jackson, served in the 1st to 3rd Kentucky Cavalry CSA under General Morgan. He was captured while on furlough and held in a POW camp (in Chicago I believe) until the end of the War. I have been trying to find whatever possible information that I can on him, but since James Jackson is a very common task, I have not been able to come up with much. Could anyone recommend any sources of information on Morgan's Men that would shed some more light on this for me?
