William Milton Patton, born 1828 Wilkes County N.C. died 1911 in Nashville Tenn. He lived his last few years with my grandparents. My grandmother's maiden name was Elizabeth Patton, she was born in Eastern Tenn. Her mother was Eliza Patton. William had a half brother who I have never been able to track down. William's Mother was a Vannoy of Vannoy N.C., the Pattons settled what is now Patton's Ridge N.C. not far from Vannoy N.C. the home of his wife.
