In the picture that you have in your possession of Lastie Matte & Cleriza Thibodeaux and another couple...I was just wandering if you know who this other couple might be. My interest is in Francois Fontenot of Company D, 7th Regiment, La Calvary, who married Azelie Richard. This couple are my maternal great grandparents. Azelie was a 1st cousin to Cleriza Thibodeaux and Francois & Lastie served in the same company in the Civil War. I would love to have a copy of the picture...if you would be so kind as to share it. If the other couple turns out to be Francois and Azelie...WOW...My aunt would probably be able to identify if the other couple is or isn't Francois and Azelie...She is 80 years old and has a very sharp memory. She told me she remembers what she looked like, even though she was only 11 yrs. old when Azelie died. Thanking you in advance...
