Has there ever been any momentum to do for the Louisiana veterans what Virginia has? I am talking about the Virginia Regimental History Series, a truly amazing project that is pretty much complete, I believe.
I have books on all three regiments that my wife's ancestors fought in. These books are all well written and have good maps and references.
If we had something like that for La., it would be outstanding.
