Oddly, I also found an online reference to GW Wilkinson and EG Wilkinson taken as prisoners with 10th Louisiana.
The 6th Cav reference lists Edmund with no middle initial but the 10th reference lists EG..."G" is correct for his middle initial.
As you likely know, Wilkerson and Wilkinson get mixed up quite often even today.
Any more information about the 10th LA references would be greatly appreciated.
