I am trying to locate P W Durell (Peter William) who appears on the list for Co L and Co H in the 1st Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 1st Div, LA Militia. By 13 March 1866, Durell is dead. I am trying to fill in the missing pieces of what happened between when he enlisted on 8 April 1862 and 13 March 1866, specifically if he was reassigned to another military unit, and if he was killed during the war. Any information is appreciated, especially regarding the history of the 1st Regiment, 2nd Brigade, 1st Div, LA Militia. Thanks, Pam
