Hirsh's Artillery, Stonewall Cem. G.H. Chaplain

On findagrave in the Stonewall Confederate Cemetery in Winchester, VA is a picture of a marker to the memory of G. H. Chaplain, Hirsh's Artillery , Louisiana ( plot 10). I can find nothing on this artillery unit, no record in Fold 3 of Chaplain either. His name was George Henry Chaplain, or G. Henry Chaplain. A newspaper report says he died July 21, 1863 while this marker has it Aug. 26, 1862. Both say he died at Winchester. Any help on the unit or the man will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Sue Moore
