Re: Hirsh's Artillery, Stonewall Cem. G.H. Chaplai

Yes, the Washington Artillery served with the Army of Northern Virginia. However, I do not find a Chaplain in the roster. The nearest I find is

J. H. Chapman, Cannoneer, 6th Company, Battalion Washington Artillery, recorded on a roll dated April 3, 1862 at New Orleans, no other records

This company was organized in April, 1862, disbanded later in 1862.

I find one Washington Artillery soldier buried at Winchester. Difficult to read his headstone for comparison.

John Muntinger, Private, 1st Company, Battalion Washington Artillery, died at Winchester of wounds received at Sharpsburg October 24/28, 1862
