My Richard Deaver (sometimes referred to as Dever) was born 1796 in Maryland and some reports say he came to Franklin Co KY shortly after War of 1812, others report him coming to Franklin Co KY abt 1820 later moving to Bourbon Co KY and settling in Monroe Co MO in 1837...He was a descendant of a Richard Deaver who came from Wales and settled in Maryland (Baltimore area) before the Rev War. Many of his relatives settled in western North Carolina.

If we have a connection it is probably in the UK.
