Thanks once again Jack. Copland would be, either, Dale Copeland or Cary Copeland, uncles of William Copeland who had his store at Logan Creek (Barnesville) robbed a couple of times by William Chronister et.al. and fled to Ironton. William had a half-brother named Samuel who fought for the south and could have been included in the list of friends of the Chilton's, Reed's and Hangers. Sometime after the war Sam Copeland with his family and most of the surviving Baker clan from the Henpeck community, near Van Buren, moved to Bell County, TX.
