Never heard of that name??? Randolph County sets on a line of the northen branch of the Santa Fe trail. Roads from Palmyra (land office)......New London road comes down through Monroe and on to Chariton........Lots of folks had $$$ to get just so far.........stopped bought Cheaper ground, improved it for a year or so, turned it..........stike out again for the promised land???? soemwhere............the west was settled in just such a way............these folks went to Texas.........S.F. Austin.....big connection between Missouri & Texas.........I'd bet they had kin already there before they moved that way.........best guess...........Neil Block
