Craig,
Thanks for the response. I am assuming that the MO soldiers mentioned were buried by the families, rightly or wrongly. Wm R Barnum ia buried at Jefferson Barracks listed as Wm R Brown, a St Joe newspaper account lists him as Brown also. I can account for 22 of the 23 bodies that were reported as lying beside the RR tracks.
