Once the names are in hand, it would be interesting to see what their service files say. And I bet the pension files might be even more interesting--the executed men's widows and children would have been eligible. In order to obtain the pensions, there would have had to have been affidavits filed by witnesses. I imagine they might show details that have yet to see the light of day.
