I hate to say it, but it was one of the worst articles I have read in North & South. Much of that is the author's fault, but the editor of the magazine is equally to blame. A nice concise treatment of Price's Raid is long overdue. Many years ago, Blue & Gray magazine did a nice job on the raid, but I know a lot of new primary research material has surfaced since then.
