Just a side note regarding Heryford/Hereford/Heriford/Herriford/ other variants - the Forest Green area Heryford's and those for whom the rectory are named after are kin. There is a cemetery in a cornfield just east of Forest Green and some of the folks from this family are buried there. When the corn is high, you can't see it. This family was all over the state, Callaway Co., Vernon Co., Howard and Chariton Cos.
