Re: Book on Price's 1864 invasion

In reading the review of the book at the posted link, it said that the author did give quite a bit of detail about the movement from Leasburg to Jefferson City. Has anyone read the book to determine if great detail about minor activities such as skirmishes, ford crossings bridges, etc, that are mentioned in the Leasburg trek, also, are give great detail in Prices advance into Missouri and along the way to Pilot Knob, or, is only the detail of such events after Pilot KNob and on the way to Jeff City?

I am looking for great detail in movements, encampments, skirmishes, etc. prior to and at Pilot Knob.

Thank you.
