Thanks to those that responded. It is great to know the regimental "nickname." The "Jasper Greys" routinely place a flag and a sticker on his stone, but I always wondered what name was used to describe Co. B.

Re: The Aberdeen papers, I will see if I have access to them through the local university library here. If not, I may be able to get them on loan from USM. Alternatively, I'll check with my genealogist-cousin and see if she can help.
