Anyone interested in the 5th MS Infantry might want to run the microfilms of the "Aberdeen Weekly" newspaper from Aberdeen, MS. Joel M. Holbert of Co. a (Red Rovers) wrote a series of "War Reminiscences" for that paper, beginning about June 1903. (Don't hold me down to an exact starting issue.) I think his second article was in the July 31, 1903 issue. See that article on Jim Martin's "Flags" page.
