Re: Gen. Mark P. Lowrey's Brigade & Battle of Fran

Rob,

I have been researching the 7th Miss. of Edward Johnson's Division, Sharp's Brigade at Franklin and Nashville and would appreciate any information you may have found regarding the 7th, 9th, 10th, 41st, 44th Miss. Inf. and the 9th Battn. Miss SS at Franklin or Nashville.

I also know that men of Lorey's Brigade were very closely aligned with Sharp's brigade at New Hope Church and Pickett's Mill [In some cases sharing the same fortifications and breastworks over the course of the various manuevers there.

Co. D and K of the 33rd had several men who were related to men in the 7th Miss. since they were raised in Franklin and Amite Co. home of Companies A&E and C&K of the 7th Miss. would like to share info on the Battle of Atlanta (7/22/64) and Ezra Church (7/28/64) and Jonesboro (8/31/64 and 9/1/64).
