I agree with Alan - great discussion here.

Also - there are two tactical studies of battles around Atlanta being done as I write this. Both by an attorney in Dalton, GA - they will cover Peachtree Creek in one volume and Ezra Church in another.

I have seen his maps and have read some of his work - it will be very detailed and correct a few errors in the Scaife maps as well especially those for Ezra Church which, he tells me, are off by a brigade front at least.
