There was George..Not far from the Hornet's Nest and a little south of the Bloody Pond.They recreated both or at least they had about 13 years ago when I was there.Also the Confederate Burial Trench is marked. Another dramatic site is the spot where General A.S.Johnston expired from his unfortunate wound. An old tree is surounded by an iron fence.

We will never know,had General Johnston lived,if he would have driven those federals into the river that evening.
