I was just working off memory, wasn't sure. Is this a new trench that has been marked? How many have been ID'd to date? I don't recall see that tree is this also new????

Park rangers told me that the advance of the 7th Miss. came to just past the welcome center. I cannot be sure, I seem to get lost when I walk these battlefields and try to remember details. We do have posted to the 7th Mississippi website letters of my grandfather talking about the "gunbotes."
