Does anyone have information on the route that Gen Van Dorn took on his way to Holly Springs? Some say he went from Granada to Houston, Pontotoc, New Albany, Ripley and on to Holly Springs. I thank they went Granada, Graysport, Big Creek, Pittsboro,Cherry Hill, Redland, Pontotoc, New Albany, Cotton Plant, Pine Grove and on to Holly Springs. I need any information that would prove they went through Houston. Some of the raiders in their writings after the war said that they went throught Houston but I am not sure that the men from Texas new where they were.
