My bad. Guess I shoudn't work from memory.

Phoned my friend. The photo he has is of John F. Brown, Company G, Lamar Rifles. The records show he was born in Ohio, then enlisted as a private at Bristow Station in '61 at 17. He survived the conflict, living to about 1920. The ubercollector, Herb Peck, Jr. once owned the tin.

JFB is depicted wearing a dark slouch/hardee with an Infantry horn insignia, the jacket is dark grey with numerous horizontal darker stripes. I'm positive I have copied the tin, but could not locate it in my cyclops.
