I can only tell you that his service record is very brief. He joined in February 1864, and was discharged at the surrender of troops at Citronelle, AL, at war's end. His service record doesn't indicate that he was wounded, though that does not mean that he was not, in fact, wounded. You can order his service record from the link at the top of this page.
