You might want to order B.C.'s and his wife's Confederate Pension and Confederate Widow's Pension Applications. They each filled one. B.C. said on his application that he was in the 1st MS Cavalry. These applications USUALLY ask if and where someone was wounded, so they MIGHT (and might NOT) answer your question about his being wounded during the war and where. Bear in mind, however, that some old soldiers embellished their war experiences for the sake of their spellbound grandchildren!
