Re: 14th MS soldier turns Galvanized Yankee

Hello Rick, and good bio. I generally go by the Marta Reid Find-a-graves for the Camp Chase Cemetery. Sonya Eason who is the current President of the UDC branch from Jacksonville, FL has been doing a great job. My bio's will be a tad different including parts of the soldiers CMSR. I have thought about publishing it but I have never made any money from the War as somehow that seems to rob the soldiers who paid such a dear price for the history. If I did publish it the proceeds would go my local SCV Camp #1535. Another option is to just put the information online at our camps website. I feel as do some others that history is not to be bought or sold but rather to be shared as it belongs to all Americans. My profit if you want to look at it that way is being the first to discover the information in some circumstances. Everyone who died at Camp Chase had a story to tell and I'm working on telling it. Thx Dennis
