Rodger, if you get a chance you should visit Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond. The Confederate section is very impressive.

You could also get a free headstone from the US Veterans Dept. for your G-G-Grandfather and have it installed at Hollywood Cemetery in the Gettysburg Dead section. Your only cost would be for the installation. There have been quite a few headstones installed there over the past few years by descendants of these Confederate soldiers.

I had one installed there for my G-G-G-Grandfather about 10 years ago and I think Hollywood charged me around $70 for the installation.
