Many of the dead from North Carolina were reinterred in Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh. I missed the name of your ancestor, what was it? If he was not killed outright, it's likely his name appears on a list of wounded prisoners from Daniel's Brigade who were at the George Wolf farm near Gettysburg. It so happens I am copying this list in the next few days from the Library of Virginia in Richmond (microform, misc. reel 1034; U.S. Adjutant General's Office, Confederate Wounded in Hospital at Gettysburg.)
