Glad to see you have an interest in reenacting, or at least an aspect of the hobby. I have been involved with living history for sixteen years. I have recently formed a new unit, the Madison Guards (Co. B from Madison County), 2nd N.C. Battalion of infantry. I don't know about the 1st though, as I do not recall ever running into any guys from that unit designation.
