Yeah, my wife stopped listening to me point out microphones sticking into the shots, and jet contrails behind the horses against the skyline. With your familiarity with the process, you know sometimes its carelessness, and sometimes its money. The script girl may spot the problem, but the director doesn't reshoot because the producer won't let him spend the money. Small story...We were talking about a shot in a grade B movie I was working on, and the script girl's boyfreind was visiting the set. He was a Gyrene just back from 'Nam. One of the prop guys fired a 12 guage blank off to the side. We all turned to look, and when we turned back, ol' Loy was trying to dig a hole in the hard Georgia clay! I imagine you know how he felt.
