I recorded and then played back the show. I thought it was okay, but I must say it was unapologetically from a single perspective. I'm used to shows about battles and campaigns from any war alternately telling the story from one side and then the other. It was definitely an attempt to repair Sherman's image. I have some Union generals that I admire, but Grant, Sherman and Sheridan are not among them. I'm more of a Samuel Curtis, George Thomas, John Reynolds, Winfield Hancock kind of guy.

I just expected a little more balance in the telling of the story. Maybe one author who was a critic. Oh well, that's why I love these message boards and my books. You get to hear different views, whether you like it or not.
