Jameson, I take it you mean that America would not have been strong enough to help defeat Germany in World War II. Your theory is as plausible as mine but have you given thought to the idea that if our nation was indeed split, and we assume they would have perpetually fought each other does it not then stand to reason that Germany may not have been defeated and crushed in the post war era of World War One? Had that not happened Hitler would have probaly finished life as a paper hanging starving artist who was of no consesquence.

I trust you are not implying that during Hitler's reign that the Southern people would have supported him. I have a cousin who was raised as a brother to my Mom who died on Normandy beach. His grandfather was a Confederate Cavalry trooper. I don't think he would appreciate an accusation of this sort.
