This thread began with 'what if Lincoln had not sent the largest army in North America to invade the soveriegn Southern States and allowed these law abiding Americans to live in peace'. Cotton could go to blazes and the black population could have lived here in peace, freedom, even prosperity....but then, while a whole generation of men were nearly decimated by War, an entire American country was subjugated, pillaged, robbed and occupied by Yankees for four years plus ten more.

Compare that with turning over a rock for a minute or two before you let loose with your happy fingers. :)
