My dad would always tell me he was going to rent out for the weekend for a fishing trip. You just had to know my Dad. He would say it in such a deadpan fashion, I was about 9 before I figured out he was joking. That was back when you went down old Hwy 90, much closer to the ship than I-10 takes you.
