I'd like to note the stats on the states those soldiers were from. Not that it really matters, you see two sub-species (races) of the same species never exist in the same region orginaly. When they bumb into each other it leads to strife, warfare ( most often brutal) and dominance eventualy by one group over the other. It's happen all over the world. North America not an exception.
Do I feel guilty that my relatives commited atrocities against Americans in the Wyoming Valley Massacre on July 3, 1778. Nope, not my fault.
Am I glad they slaughtered little kids and women. Nope, I can't say that I am.
Bye-the-bye while there were Mohawks at the Cherry Valley Massacre under Brant, they were very few, due to an argument against Butler. It was mostly Brit forces and Senecas.
