Craig, I have come to enjoy your postings and really respect how you present your side of a debate. That being said, may I ask you to please read my post again. I was simply describing how the subject of northern emancipation was presented in this particular book. I thought I had even refrained from seeming to endorse the book as 100% factual by my stating that some of their conclusions were difficult to reconcile.

I have no interest to any degree of getting involved in slavery discussions because I find most people, yourself not included, tend to speak from preconcieved ideas and their own emotions, regardless of which side of the issue they favor. Try to understand, after several years on this, and other WBTS message boards dating back to the late 1990's I'm tired of rehashing the same old subject.

I have enjoyed seeing you and David Upton going at it. I would be happy to use either one of you as my defense if I was ever on trial!
