Thanks for the reminder. I know you speak from experience. We've already purchased extra water, canned goods, Coleman stove and lantern fuel, batteries, etc. My wife takes good care of me. We're praying this thing stays away from us and comes ashore weak and in a lightly populated area. If it's a "3" or less we'd probably ride it out, we're about seventy-five miles inland. If it's stronger, we'll probably load up the cat and dog and head to my mother and step-dad's (both in the mid 80's) house in the Bryan-College Station area.
We're keeping an eye on this thing as all Gulf coast residents should.
