Sorry you are being punished in such a harsh manner. All of your info was factual. It has even been reports of soldiers in the 18th NC committing suicide after discovering the results of their firing that night. I've also read that when Jackson's body was carried from the site of the shooting the litter was dropped twice. Unlike in the film Gods and Generals the litter was transported on the shoulders of the men that carried him off. It is supposed that one of the falls caused the serious damage that resulted in his arm being amputated not the gun shot. Have you ever heard the story/rumor of Jackson's arm being exhumed by a Union officer at Ellwood Plantation?
