It is not just Richmond it is all over. New Orleans had the same problem with it's Confederate museum, Beauvoir had problems getting federal money, and may not have got any, I am not sure. Fort Massachusetts is in need of repair, and I think Fort Pickens still needs work. The NPS is spending millions to change their interpretive centers so the focus is more on slavery. NOW the MOC is facing serious trouble and the state and federal officials can't or won't do anything to help. Despite all this, MLK monument in Washington gets millions in funding. Need I say more?
