Jim I'm not personally acquainted with Bud Hall. I know of him because of his battlefield preservation efforts and his writings for "BLUE & GRAY" magazine. What bothers me is your assumpution that he was a "New Englander" and that his article was just Yankee Spin. I didn't see Spin in the article, Yankee or otherwise. Bill Mc
