Alan I am not sure. This is basically new ground for me. I came upon the reference to a "clash of political ideas" some time ago but could never get any solid sources or information on the subject. I posed the idea to this board a couple of months ago; David and Doyle touched on the idea but never gave any solid reasoning as I could see. You and Edward have some very interesting thoughts about the whole idea of a conflict caused by a power play by political parties, so now I am just trying to gather information for more research and trying to learn. I gather my way of thinking is not new or unique and may have been by early historians and writers of the WBTS.
