I know that there has been several books written on the subject of "If the South had Won" and others such titles, but I generally have avoided them. My opinions are mearly projection of what I deem to be a reasonable progression of events based upon what did happen, after the war. Not really a hard thing to do. This is not to say that these things were 100% certain, if the South had won its independence. But I would say that, betting the odds in Vegas, the chances were pretty good.
