Re: Medal of Honor
In Response To: Re: Medal of Honor ()

George...could you please send me any contact information concerning the author Joslyn. I believe Thomas Harris was likely a member of the Immortal 600 since the records in his CSR file, prepared by his captors, indicate that he was received at Fort Pulaski, Ga after 10-20-1864 (From Ft.Delaware since that was his final destination after being captured). On March 12, 1865 he was received at Ft. Delaware from Hilton Head, S.C. He did sign the loyalty oath at Fort Delaware at his release after the war had ended.

Perhaps the author Joslyn would have some "notes" as to why this man's records indicate that ge was in the right location at the right time, why would he be excluded from her list of the Immortal 600?

I am a "bull dog" when it comes to running to bay incidents that may have excluded someone that deserves to be recognized. Any help will be appreciated.
