Thanks for bringing this study to my attention; takes me back to my early days in psychological research. The study of battlefield-induced trauma is a relatively new subject of study. I remember, however, family descriptions of my great-great-grandfather's behavior when he returned from the war. I can only think that Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome is nothing new to battlefield survivors.
