Possibly because the information is there. The events are well reported. The people are treated in a pretty fair manner. Maybe not use as a reference, but very well worth the reading.

I did find a couple of things that I either had not thought of or was unsure of in one of his books. I then did some digging in the OR's and found what I needed.
