Re: The Secession Tradition in America

I don't believe I will ever understand how people can hate so much. It's not human but it seems to happen more than we want to believe. The damage those idiots have done to our 'Flag' cannot be repaired. We can try to patch it, but it's never going to be accepted as a 'heritage' symbol again. It truly pains me to admit that too, but I will not stop trying to pass the message along on my journey through life that it was never meant to be used like that.

I really don't know just when the Jews were adopted into the hate section of that group either. I'd think it was when they adopted the swastika. Guess they took part and parcel of Hitler's message and really took the hate part in it as their persona and added what ever suited them as they went along. I'm still not sure how they crossed both the swastika and the battle flag into their agenda but it was probably because they knew both would draw negative attention. They thrive on negative attention. Ignoring them, while difficult, does more to their ego than a good old fashioned a$$ whipping. And I do mean that in the most bar room type of brawl and I'd have no problem handing someone a beer bottle to bash one of em on the head if they needed more ammo. You notice when any of those groups are mentioned on the news shows they are listed under the heading of Southern White Supremest. Most are not Southern but that escapes the fact check portion of the show. Our PR Department seems to have been disbanded along with the troops at wars end.

We have some very disturbed people who are not at all what we want anyone to classify as Americans because they are more like the loons in a nuthouse. Just going back over the last few decades is enough to show us that. Ruby Ridge, Oklahoma City, David Koresh and many more. If we can see there's a difference between their beliefs and their solutions to what they believe are problems is very different than ours how can we not understand there's factions in other areas of the world operating in the same vien? Not all Muslims are extremist, but how do we, the non Muslim know the difference? That's probably how they feel about us. All are confused and decide it's better to assume any are possible threats. That will never bring about peaceful existance. There's got to be more. I know we are tired of trying so hard only to be knocked back 10 steps for every 3 we've taken forward in just trying to get our own history told correctly. It stands to reason they are too. Rodney King was right. He said a mouthful. 'Can't we all just get along?"
