“His Worship”???? The sheriff was “His Worship”?!!!

I believe this was sarcasm. Also, any emissary from another government should have sought an audience with the State Department or at least the State Governor not the Mayor or County Sheriff.

You must have missed several newspapers ago where they mention the camels coming from far out west to Texas with an army expedition.
